Cocomputing Corp. and the School of Software and Microelectronics of Peking University signs agreement for Agile development and training in China.

Beijing, China, March 2, 2009

Agile development has been existed for decades. It started to enter main stream in recent years. Cocomputing has been using Agile methodologies (mostly Scrum and Lean) for years and is a firm believer of Agile development.

As the adoption of Agile development becomes more widespread across the software industry in the world, a strong momentum for Agile development is building up in the software community in China. But many software development teams in China are facing practical challenges of adopting or migrating to Agile development.

In order to drive the adoption of Agile development, productivity gain and software quality in China, Cocomputing Corporation signed agreements with the School of Software and Microelectronics of Peking University to collaborate on further developing and promoting Agile development in China. The agreement covers Agile training and consulting, GScrum (TM) development and promotion, and other further development of Agile development frameworks and models. This will bring both industrial and academic strength in our effort to drive the quality improvement and productivity gains in the software industry in China.
